It was previously reported that we were working on porting Cellframe Wallet to Android; however, at the beginning of the year, our primary focus was on launching the mainnet and keeping the master node up and running, so work was put on hold. Now, when there is very little time remaining before the launch of the mainnet, we are gradually resuming work on the android assembly. So, the back-end team ported the Cellframe Wallet to Android. The application is being further debugged and tested. For those of you who want to be among the first to try Cellframe Wallet on the new system, we invite you to participate in the testing of the application's pre-alpha build. During every AMA session we publish a table with the number of commits that have been made since the last stream on our primary projects. One of the more common questions we receive is: what do these indicators mean and how do they reflect the progress made towards mainnet? We've decided to shed some light on that. Here's our answer: Every time a developer does a significant piece of work, or when their changes are urgently required by other project-team members, they prepare a commit together with a request to merge their changes in the code with the project code in GitLab. The greater the number of commits — the more work that was done on that particular project, and the more people were involved. According to our data in the commits table, you can see that the largest number of commits were made in the Cellframe SDK and Cellframe Node projects. This means that the majority of our resources during this time period have been focused on developing the mainnet as we gear up to its launch. #CELL #cellframe #mainnet

As we work around the clock to get the mainnet ready for launch, we wanted to show you the steps that remain before completion: The top priority is security: • Implement ban lists by IP or node address on zero chain • Finish spam filter by IP and node addresses • Finish authentication of node addresses • Internal security audit, minimizing bugs and vulnerabilities • Add verification of orders with valid master node delegation keys Other remaining tasks: • Port all developments and fixes from the master branch to the release candiaate • Update Cellframe Dashboard and Cellframe Wallet to work with RC node • Complete the new network balancing mechanism • Complete changes to the mechanics of conditional transactions We also need to fix a few bugs related to duplicate data during flood synchronization. Q: How can we be sure that post-quantum cryptography really provides protection, if the wide-scale use of quantum computers is still a long way off? Answer: To understand whether post-quantum cryptography works, it is not necessary to have a ready-made quantum computer. We can already evaluate the efficiency of such algorithms using mathematics. What does this mean? Let's put it in layman's terms: In classical cryptography to speed up the process it is necessary to store in memory only the current iteration of data, whereas in post-quantum cryptography it is necessary to store all of the intermediate data. The volume of this data grows exponentially, and a quantum computer needs to store it in memory. We are talking about billions of qubits - modern quantum computers are still far away from having such a capacity. In any case, it should be kept in mind that even post-quantum protection is not absolute. It is a solution that will be viable for about a hundred years, and is suitable for "normal" communication lines. The next stage of technology is quantum communication lines and quantum cryptography, which are currently still in the embryonic stage of their development. #cellframe_technology

Updates Expansion of functionality: ✅Implemented and debugged a new staking mechanism that allows the user to make a single multi-channel staking transaction instead of two. This halves the fee for users during stake and unstake, making the staking procedure absolutely fail-safe. ✅The hash filter has been modified, ensuring a faster processing of rounds. ✅We analysed the fork mechanism and designed a mechanism for monitoring the state of the cells. ✅Implemented a hash table with a list of hashes of all datums. The table allows us to list all such datums and track their status on the chain and ledger, and the return code of each datum can be retrieved. ✅Added RWD builds with an auto-update feature. These builds enable us to gather more detailed information about node errors and crashes, greatly simplifying the trouble-shooting process. ✅The setting of the validator commission size was moved from the config to the order. This will eliminate the discrepancy between the information specified in the order and the config. ✅Updated DNS balancer. It will enable the distribution of node connections across the network in such a way that ensures an even load. ✅Added a mechanism that separates the root nodes of the network according to their specialization: root, full, and balancing. ✅Ported the new emission center and bridge plugin from the master branch to the release candidate. This will allow the user to utilize all the latest developments in the functionality of the bridge and staking in the mainnet. Fixing bugs: ✅Restored the flow of transactions in the Raiden network. ✅Fixed node crashes while working with dictionary lists in plugins. ✅Set up the display of the transaction ticker in the ledger. ✅Pinpointed and fixed most of node crashes and memory corruption. #cellframe_news #staking

We continue to answer questions from the community. Today we're going to focus on the marketing wallet. The marketing wallet contained 2,000 BNB of funds that belonged to our former partners. We agreed to give them these funds in exchange for them returning all the keys to us. Now they have the funds and we have the keys: this gives us the freedom to concentrate on the further development of the platform, which we are actively doing. If you follow our news, you will see this. Our marketing is financed by funds raised from the additional issuing of tokens. What did the team do in the aftermath of the situation on June 1st? Scheduled monitoring of the infofield revealed a situation labeled by the community as a "hack". A smart contract specialist began to investigate what had happened. We blocked migration on all sites until the details were clarified. We removed liquidity from the LP pairs migration contract with the old token. We put a ban on the staking of pairs with the old token. Single migration was enabled. With the help of QA we checked how the commission for conducting transactions is removed, and how its size is affected by the weight of the stake. At the same time, we monitored the ongoing discussions and kept abreast of the situation in the communities. At the same time, we got to the bottom of and laid out the scenario of user actions Outcome: The attack occurred due to a vulnerability in the migration of LP pairs. What is the best choice for running a masternode: Raspberry PI or VPS? If you are only planning to use the node for transaction validation, either of these options are a safe bet. The main thing is adherence to the minimum technical requirements. Cellframe uses Proof-of-Stake consensus, meaning that the priority of the rights to confirm transactions and form blocks depends only on the size of your stake, and not on the technical characteristics of your equipment. If you want to use the node for generating income by providing Cellframe services, various options are open to you. For example, for the ConfCall video conferencing service, network bandwidth is more important than node characteristics. Conversely, an AI platform that is intended specifically for solving training problems and running machine learning models requires substantial computing power. In this case, Raspberry PI, in which 70-80% of the chip is occupied by video cores, will be preferable to VPS. #cellframe_technology

A change in the node address shouldn’t affect the functioning of the node; your identity is based on your key. But it should be predictable. If you get disconnected from the internet, then that’s a problem, but it’s OK within limits. We’re now trying to improve the fault tolerance of our consensus algorithm. We don’t want to go the route of slashes for those who do not participate in consensus sometimes.
